The Alf Group of Italy made official a collection which also features a wall mounted storage drawers to increase the idea of a suspended bedroom. The Alf Group of Italy is one of my favorite up and coming European furniture makers, and I really have to say their new “Aladino Up” suspended platform bed is a step in the right direction. The collection also features wall mounted storage drawers to complete the illusion of a suspended bedroom set and nice touches like the upholstered grid patterned headboard, soft touch closing drawers, and orthopedic slats that cushion the platform frame for a comfortable nights sleep.

This long-term project tackles one of the most beautiful sights of Brussels, not only for its architectural value and history but also for its symbolic dimension of Flemish culture. It has two components: renovating the existing building while providing it with a new 500-seat theater and the construction of a new building adjacent to the theater.

The two units range from 1,800 to 2,100 SF. Each is three-bedroom with two master suites, and is equipped with a two-car garage. To the north, south and west, the rooftop decks capture views of the Puget Sound, Seattle cityscape and the beach community below. With spacious living spaces and quality finishes such as glulam beam framing, bamboo floor and fir cabinetry, the Alki Townhouses are both beautiful and practical.
